“Hard” is a song by Barbadian recording artist Rihanna, taken from her fourth studio album, Rated R (2009), and features American rapper Jeezy. The song was released as the second overall single from the album on February 19, 2010 through Def Jam in the United States, and was later released in the United Kindgom. It was written by Terius Nash, Christopher Stewart, Rihanna and Jay Jenkin, and was produced by the former two, under their stage names The-Dream and Tricky Stewart. Musically, “Hard” is a hip hop song.  Hard” received positive reviews from critics, who praised the collaboration between Rihanna and Jeezy, as well as the Rihanna’s vocal performance.
