Fall For You is a song by American acoustic rock emo band Secondhand Serenade the solo project of John Vesely. It was the first single from Secondhand Serenade’s second studio album A Twist in My Story. John Vesely formed Secondhand Serenade in his home town of Menlo Park in California, USA, in 2004. Vesely was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area in a musical family and as the son of a professional jazz musician father, commenting that “getting into music was a natural thing” for him. He spent 8 years playing bass in local bands, featuring in a number of acts ranging in style from ska and hardcore to rock and pop. One of the bands he played in, Sounds Like Life, included fellow Bay Area artist Ronnie Day. After years of playing bass, he opted for an acoustic guitar. Vesely follows in the tradition of John Ondrasik’s Five for Fighting. Vesely was also the son of a Czech immigrant. Vesely began writing his own songs when he met his wife Candice Vesely. She had wanted him to play a song and “serenading her with a bass guitar was out of the question.” He has admitted he found his “true calling” when he picked up the guitar. The pseudonym Secondhand Serenade is a reference to the way in which his songs were ‘serenades’ sung to his wife Candice, with whom he has two young sons. For You and Your Denial is a song by American pop punk/alternative rock band Yellowcard from their seventh album When You’re Through Thinking,Say Yes, released to iTunes on January 18, 2011. The  band formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 1997, and based in Los Angeles, California since 2000. The song was the first to debut live from the new album, as the band debuted the song on their show at the Glass House in Pomona, California on November 13, 2010, the band’s first live show since reforming after the 2008–2010 hiatus. Their music features the use of a violin, unusual for the genre. They are best-known for their songs “Ocean Avenue”, “Only One”, “Lights and Sounds”, and “Light Up the Sky”. The band announced their return from a two-year hiatus in August 2010 and has completed recording their latest album, When You’re Through Thinking, Say Yes, released mid-March 2011. Thank Me Later is the debut studio album of Canadian recording artist Aubrey Drake Graham better known by his stage name Drake (born on October 24, 1986). In June 2009, Drake signed a recording contract with Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment. In November 2009, Lil Wayne released a statement announcing that Drake’s first studio album, Thank Me Later, had been completed. The song was released on June 15, 2010, on Young Money Entertainment and Cash Money Records. Production for the album took place at various recording studios during 2009 to 2010 and was mostly produced by longtime collaborators Noah “40″ Shebib and Boi-1da, and also featured contributions from Timbaland, Swizz Beatz, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, The-Dream and Kanye West, among others. Thank Me Later features a predominantly sparse, downbeat production and contains subjective lyrics concerning themes of fame, self-examination, and love.  The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart with first-week sales of 447,000 copies. It attained the third-highest first-week sales of 2010 in the United States. It also entered at number one on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Rap Albums chart. In its second week, the album dropped to number two on the Billboard 200 and sold 157,000 copies. It remained at number two and sold 105,000 copies in its third week on the chart. In its fourth week, the album sold 74,000 copies at the same chart position. On July 20, 2010, Thank Me Later was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, for shipments and sales in excess of one million copies in the United States. As of January 9, 2011, the album had sold 1,279,500 copies in the United States. In Canada, the album debuted at number one on the Top 100 Albums chart, selling 31,000 copies in its first week.
